1. Scope

This policy applies to the Audio Rescue iPhone app, the Audio Rescue website, and communications you initiate with support. It does not apply to third-party services with their own policies, such as Apple or Cloudflare.

2. Privacy contact

To contact the developer of Audio Rescue about privacy or exercise your rights, email support_audiorescue@consultor.com.es.

3. Data handled by the app

Media files

The app accesses only the audio or video you select through system pickers. Analysis, repair, comparison, and result generation happen on the iPhone. Audio Rescue does not transmit or store your files on its own server.

Temporary files

The app creates working copies and temporary results inside its local container. They are removed automatically when work is replaced, canceled, or found to be stale. The original is never overwritten.

Analytics and advertising

The version covered by this policy has no accounts, advertising SDKs, third-party analytics, or cross-app tracking. It creates no user profiles and makes no automated decisions with legal effects.

4. Support communications

If you choose “Contact Support” in Settings, the app prepares an email containing the iOS version and the Audio Rescue version/build. You can review and change everything before sending. No audio or video is attached automatically.

When you send an email, you may voluntarily provide your address, the text of your request, and anything you choose to attach. This is used to respond, diagnose the issue, and maintain service quality and security. The legal basis is taking steps at your request and, where applicable, the legitimate interest in providing support and preventing faults.

5. Website and Cloudflare

This website is static, has no forms, sets no first-party cookies, and includes no analytics or advertising. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages.

When you visit a website served through Cloudflare, Cloudflare may process technical network and security data such as IP addresses, traffic routing data, system configuration, and traffic information. Cloudflare acts as infrastructure provider and describes this processing in its Privacy Policy. Audio Rescue does not use that data for advertising or profiling.

The legal basis for technical processing needed to serve and protect the website is the legitimate interest in providing a secure and available site.

6. Purchases and Apple

In-app purchases are processed through StoreKit and the App Store. Apple handles account, payment, and tax information under its own policies. Audio Rescue receives the status needed to grant or restore export access but does not receive your full card details.

See Apple's Privacy Policy for information about its handling of this data.

7. Recipients and transfers

We do not sell personal data. Providers that may be involved are Apple for purchases and distribution, Cloudflare for website hosting, and the email providers needed to deliver and answer your messages.

These providers may operate internationally and apply their own transfer mechanisms and safeguards. Audio Rescue requires any provider used to process data to offer appropriate protection and limits processing to the relevant purpose.

8. Retention and deletion

  • Audio and video: not received on Audio Rescue servers. Local working copies are removed automatically through the lifecycle described above.
  • Support emails: kept for the time needed to respond to and follow up on your request. Once no longer needed, they are deleted unless a legal obligation or defense of a claim requires retention.
  • Cloudflare technical logs: subject to Cloudflare's configuration and retention periods. Audio Rescue creates no separate analytics copy.

You can request deletion of a support conversation using the contact email. We will remove it unless an applicable legal duty requires retention.

9. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection regarding your personal data. You may also withdraw consent where consent is the basis, without affecting earlier processing.

To exercise these rights, email support_audiorescue@consultor.com.es. We may request minimal information to verify that the request relates to the correct person. You may also complain to the relevant data protection authority where you live.

10. Children

Audio Rescue is a general media utility and is not specifically directed to children. It does not request age or create an account. If we learn that a child sent personal data through support without required authorization, we will delete it.

11. Security

We minimize data by design: media stays local, the website has no forms or trackers, and support email is sent only when you decide. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures, although no communication or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to this policy

We will update this page if Audio Rescue's data handling, hosting, SDKs, or features change. The date above identifies the current version. If a change requires consent or additional notice, that will be provided before it takes effect.
